About Us
Grief is the last act of love we can give to those we loved. Where there is deep grief, there was great love.

A Letter from Our Team
Dear Friend,
Where It All Started
It started with an idea.
Everything started because of my grandmother and her friends.
In our small town, everyone knew them as, The Friends. These were the women who showed up when families needed them most. I watched them bring food, handle the little details, and most importantly, give people space to grieve. That's just what they did. No questions asked.
This is what my grandmother taught me: "Sometimes, people just need someone to be there."
When Everything Changed
2020 changed everything. As the pandemic spread, I watched families try to say goodbye through screens. They couldn't hug. They couldn't gather. They were alone when they needed each other most.
I kept thinking about The Friends. About how they helped one family at a time right there in our town. What if we could do that for people everywhere?
Growing to Help More Families
That's when MyCondolences started. At first, we just wanted to give people a place to share memories online. But it grew into something bigger.
Now, families can:
- hold virtual memorial services
- collect photos and stories
- livestream services for relatives who live far away
- send flowers and donations to favorite charity
- and even receive grief support
We're still doing what The Friends did: Helping families focus on what matters. Now, we can help families share memories and support each other from anywhere in the world.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our story. If you're here because you're facing a difficult time, please know that we're here to help. If you're simply curious about what we do, we're grateful for your interest in our mission.
Every family deserves the kind of support that The Friends provided in our small town. That's what we're working to give you, wherever you are in the world.
With gratitude,
MyCondolences Team
